The CD-4095 is a unique HPLC CD detector for measuring circular dichroism developed from the market leading J-Series circular dichroism spectropolarimeters. Optically active compounds with a chromophore close to a chiral center may absorb circularly polarized light, which can be detected with excellent sensitivity and selectivity.

The series includes a total 9 units sizes with a bath volume from 0.8 to 30 liters. Up to a bath volume of 3 liters, there are devices with and without heating.
From a volume of 3 liters, all units have a heater. In addition, all devices from 6 liters are equipped with a drain.

The J-1000 Series Circular Dichroism spectrophotometers are specifically designed for high sensitivity measurements in the near- and far-UV regions, for scientists that need confidence in the data from characterization studies of biomolecule structure, function, and stability under a wide variety of experimental conditions.
